Vatti Brings "Porcelain Talk" Collection to KIB 2026, Putting Millennia-Old Celadon into Young People's Kitchens

On September 28, the 2026 Shanghai International Smart Home Life Expo (KIB) grandly opened at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. As China's first professional exhibition deeply integrating the three major tracks of home furnishing and decoration, whole-house hardware, and electrical equipment, this year's expo adopts "All in AI Panoramic Smart Ecosystem" as its core concept, with leading national kitchen appliance brands collectively appearing on site. Major industry names including "Fang, Lao, Hua" are gathered at the exhibition, which is expected to attract 30,000 professional visitors. China's leading high-end kitchen appliance brand Vatti brought its "Porcelain Talk" collection and water heaters for a major appearance, building a "viewable, walkable, feelable" "living space exhibition" around the theme "Porcelain · Delight the Kitchen, Talk · Orient."

Known as a "trendy kitchen appliance brand," Vatti previewed the Porcelain Talk collection at the Appliance & Electronics World Expo (AWE) in March this year, then officially launched it in Zhejiang, the hometown of celadon, receiving unanimous praise from media and users. In early September, Porcelain Talk went overseas, appearing at IFA Berlin on site. Vatti was also named "Most Innovative Home Appliance Brand" at the 22nd China Home Appliance Innovation Achievement Release, with overseas audiences highly praising it. Now returning to Shanghai once again — a path from within to without and finally back — Vatti is telling the same story: letting technology and the Eastern kitchen be seen by more people, and letting this aesthetic connect with the tastes and daily lives of the younger generation.

A Touch of Longquan Celadon Completes a Journey Overseas

Why has the Porcelain Talk collection received such acclaim? First, it packs the aesthetics of the intangible cultural heritage of Longquan celadon into modern kitchen appliances. The design inspiration of the Porcelain Talk collection comes from Song Dynasty aesthetics, with its core being "elegant restraint" — which naturally aligns with Vatti's product direction of integrated home living. The Porcelain Talk collection comes in three colors — "Sky Blue After Rain," "Purple Charm in Deep Smoke," and "Song Elegance in Sandalwood Gold." Vatti joined hands with Chinese ceramic art master Ye Xiaochun to transform the glaze colors and textures of Longquan celadon into a kitchen language, giving Chinese cooking an additional layer of cultural experience beyond function.

This thread has been quite complete for Vatti this year. At the AWE in March and the Hangzhou launch event, the Porcelain Talk collection met audiences. At the IFA Berlin exhibition in early September, it appeared before audiences from around the world as one of China's home appliance innovation achievements. Vice President Ruscheinsky of the German Association for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies (VDE) and his delegation said after experiencing it that they never expected porcelain could be integrated with kitchen appliances, and the effect was so good. IFA Executive Director Leif Lindner also had in-depth exchanges with Vatti Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Pan Yezhao. Meanwhile, Pan Yezhao presented a pair of Longquan celadon zun vessels to the other party, completing a warm "Chinese courtesy."

Using porcelain as a medium did not only happen in Berlin. During the World Cup in June this year, Vatti brought celadon into the Spanish Embassy in China. This piece of "porcelain" not only entered the kitchen but also made its way to sports arenas and technology exhibitions. Celadon has transformed from an intangible cultural heritage craft in need of protection into a cultural calling card for Chinese brands going global. And the KIB stop is another landing point on this thread. Chinese home appliance going overseas used to rely on cost advantages, then on technological strength, and now there is one more option — culture. Technology determines how far a brand can go; culture determines how deep a brand can go.

Range Hood Hidden into the Cabinet, Giving Space Back to Life

Returning to the product itself, the Porcelain Talk collection first addresses real problems in Chinese kitchens. Traditional range hoods have thick bodies, occupy cabinet space, and may pose head-bumping hazards. Chinese kitchens often repeatedly compromise between "usable" and "good-looking." The solution of the Porcelain Talk collection is to hide the range hood: the upper half of the body is concealed into the wall cabinet, blending with the cabinetry, preserving storage space inside the cabinet, and eliminating the need for large-scale cabinet demolition and modification during old-house renovation. At a glance, only a touch of "Sky Blue After Rain" remains in the kitchen.

What is "hidden" is the body, but performance is not compromised. This range hood features 31m³/min variable-frequency strong suction and a maximum static pressure of 1500Pa, meaning that even in high-rise residences, it can smoothly exhaust smoke during peak hours in shared flues. A 9:1 airflow distribution combined with a VOC odor sensor can proactively identify cooking status and adjust airflow, providing auxiliary ventilation when away from home and auxiliary capture of residual smoke during high-heat stir-frying, safeguarding cooking safety throughout.

Beyond "usable and good-looking," "easy to clean" is also carved into the details. The Porcelain Talk range hood is equipped with fifth-generation steam hot water washing technology, achieving a 99.2% cleaning rate, 99.99% sterilization rate, and 99.1% cleaning coverage. In terms of appearance, beyond the eye-catching celadon glaze color, the Porcelain Talk collection also features a crystal touchscreen and multi-color ambient lighting, making the entire kitchen feel upgraded in quality at a glance.

Eastern Style on the Stove, Mastery in the Flame

The gas stove displayed alongside the range hood follows the design logic of "harmony between square and circle": the circular burner and knobs echo the roundness and fullness of celadon vessels, while the large square panel forms a visual counterpoint with the circular outline. Chinese cooking techniques are numerous — steaming, frying, boiling, braising, high-heat stir-frying — which requires the stove's firepower to meet various cooking situations. In terms of performance, the Porcelain Talk gas stove features 5.0MAX concentrated energy combustion technology, 5.2kW high firepower, 1200°C stove core temperature, and 78% thermal efficiency, meeting the national Grade 1 green emission standard. Seven-level visual firepower adjustment, 180-minute wide-range timer, and 2.4G smart stove-hood linkage put the difference between high-heat stir-frying and slow simmering into users' own hands.

Also exhibited alongside the Porcelain Talk collection are two gas water heaters, the TL5i and TH5i. From kitchen to bathroom, Vatti laid out a complete Eastern living scene within 60 square meters at the KIB booth. This is also why young people are willing to stop on site in front of the Porcelain Talk collection. Entering 2026, the national trend continues to heat up. Beyond function, young people value "emotional value," and the warm, restrained Eastern minimalism of celadon precisely matches young people's preference for a "healing feeling." Real scenarios such as open kitchens and old-home renovation also make hidden embedded design, smoke not reaching the face, and easy cleaning more persuasive.

Around its positioning as a "fashionable scientific kitchen appliance" brand, Vatti builds clean kitchens with the standards of "usable, good-looking, easy to clean." As of June 30, 2026, Vatti holds 4,716 authorized valid patents, including 1,048 invention patents. Turning millennia-old celadon into a reachable part of daily kitchen life, and turning three meals a day into a life lived "earnestly" — this is the story Vatti wants to complete at KIB.
