Lancang Tea secures RMB40.00 million one-year working-capital facility from China Merchants Bank

Pu’er Lancang Ancient Tea Co., Ltd. (“Lancang Tea”) disclosed that it signed a Credit Agreement (Contract No. 876526ESX10) with the Kunming Branch of China Merchants Bank on 22 April 2026, obtaining a RMB40.00 million working-capital facility. The loan carries a 12-month tenor, effective from 21 April 2026 to 20 April 2027.

To secure the facility, the company executed a Maximum Amount Mortgage Contract (No. 876526E2SX10), pledging the property and land-use rights of nine buildings at its original tea factory in Menglang Town, Lancang County (Real Estate Certificate No. Yun (2020) Lancang County Real Estate No. 0001806).

Lancang Tea stated that the additional credit line will broaden financing channels, replenish operational capital and optimise the Group’s liability structure. The board, including all independent non-executive directors, concluded that the terms are fair, made on normal commercial terms and align with shareholders’ interests. The lender and its ultimate beneficial owners are independent third parties to Lancang Tea and its connected persons.
