The board of NEWAY GROUP (HKG: 00055) has announced that Mr. Wong Sun Fat has retired from his position as a non-executive director, as he did not seek re-election upon the conclusion of his term at the 2026 Annual General Meeting.

Following his retirement, Mr. Wong has also ceased to be a member of both the Audit Committee and the Remuneration Committee.

To fill the vacancies, the board has appointed Mr. Chu Kan Pui, an independent non-executive director and a member of the Nomination Committee, to serve as a member of both the Audit Committee and the Remuneration Committee, effective immediately upon the conclusion of the 2026 Annual General Meeting.
