In response to the severe flooding caused by persistent heavy rainfall in multiple regions of Guangxi, including Guigang, Fangchenggang, and Nanning, domestic automobile manufacturers have swiftly mobilized to provide significant aid through donations and supplies.

The Byd Company Limited Charity Foundation announced on July 8th a donation of 10 million yuan to support emergency rescue operations, livelihood assistance for affected residents, support for rescue teams, and post-disaster reconstruction in the Guangxi disaster area.

On the same day, Chery Automobile donated cash and supplies totaling 10 million yuan through the China Charity Federation, with 5 million yuan in cash earmarked specifically for emergency response and the relocation of affected people, and the remainder allocated as material aid.

Xiaomi's public welfare foundation also announced a cash donation of 10 million yuan to support emergency rescue, transitional resettlement, and reconstruction efforts in Guangxi and other disaster-stricken areas.

Zhangxue Motors contributed 5 million yuan and simultaneously prepared large quantities of daily necessities. The company's fleet, equipped with four additional off-road motorcycles and professional riders, is focusing on towns where main roads have been severed by floods and large vehicles cannot pass, utilizing the motorcycles' agility to deliver supplies, assist in evacuating trapped residents, and bridge the "last kilometer" of rescue efforts.

WULING MOTORS, leveraging the "Strivers Special Project" under the SAIC-GM-Wuling Red Cross Foundation, allocated funds and vehicles worth a total of 3 million yuan specifically for post-disaster reconstruction, aid to disadvantaged groups, and capacity building for rescue teams in the affected areas of Guangxi. As a local Guangxi automaker, Wuling's assistance carries the particular significance of a "home team" disaster response.

NIO, in collaboration with the NIO User Welfare Foundation, coordinated with charitable organizations to pool funds and rescue materials, specifically designated for essential supplies for residents, rescue equipment, road repair, and post-disaster resettlement and reconstruction.

Beyond direct financial and material donations, several automakers have launched emergency care services for affected vehicle owners.

Chongqing Changan Automobile Company Limited and its brands, including Changan, Shenlan, Avatr, and Changan Qiyuan, are offering services such as 24-hour free roadside assistance, dedicated claims support, and expedited parts channels for owners of water-damaged vehicles from July 6th to August 6th.

Great Wall Motor Company Limited has introduced four emergency care measures across its five major brands: worry-free rescue, a care fund, comprehensive vehicle disinfection, and free inspections, covering the flood-hit areas of Guigang, Fangchenggang, and Nanning.

Dongfeng Motor has also activated a dedicated support channel for vehicle owners.

GAC Group's brands, including Aion, Trumpchi, and Hyper, are offering services until July 31st, encompassing 24/7 free towing, subsidies for water-damaged vehicle repairs, courtesy car and replacement subsidies, interior disinfection, expedited parts channels, and dedicated claims management.

Ninebot is providing free roadside assistance for water-damaged electric two-wheelers, complimentary electrical system inspections, and special discounts on core electronic component repairs at its stores in the disaster-affected regions of Guangxi.
