City Developments Limited on Sep, 28 2026 announced the completion of a Strategic Review and introduced “GET+”, a three-year plan for FY 2027-2029 aimed at sharpening focus, reinforcing capital discipline and improving shareholder returns.
Under the roadmap, the group intends to deploy 5 billion Singapore dollars in new investments across four sectors—Residential, Commercial, Hospitality and Living—while realising 6 billion Singapore dollars from divesting mature, non-core or underperforming assets. About 60% of new capital will be committed to Singapore, 30% to China and Japan, and 10% to other markets.
The programme is supported by an additional 6 billion Singapore dollars of expected cash inflows from existing property development projects through FY 2029.
CDL introduced “PLUS” targets to measure execution: • Payout – dividend payout ratio of at least 35% of profit after tax and minority interests each year. • Leverage – net gearing of about 55% by FY 2029. • Unlock – more than 1 billion Singapore dollars of PATMI to be generated from divestment gains. • Scale – increase assets under management to 10 billion Singapore dollars, up from about 5 billion Singapore dollars as of Jun, 30 2026.
Hospitality assets will be a major focus, with approximately 1.8 billion Singapore dollars of hotel disposals planned, representing 30% of the overall divestment target.
To reach its AUM goal, CDL will establish a dedicated fund-management entity to expand listed and private-capital platforms, using both its existing portfolio and new acquisitions to attract third-party capital.
Management said the GET+ strategy is designed to strengthen the balance sheet, boost recurring income and enhance long-term shareholder value, with progress updates to be provided in regular financial disclosures.
