MIDEA GROUP (00300) surged over 4% following its earnings release. As of press time, the stock was up 3.43% to HK$84.6 with a trading volume of HK$237 million.

On August 29, MIDEA GROUP announced its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2025. The group achieved revenue of 252.331 billion yuan, representing a year-on-year increase of 15.68%. Net profit attributable to shareholders reached 26.014 billion yuan, up 25.04% compared to the same period last year. The company proposed an interim dividend of 5 yuan per 10 shares.

According to the announcement, despite the recovery in domestic home appliance market consumption demand driven by the continuous "trade-in" subsidy policy in the first half of 2025, industry competition around "user traffic" and "product pricing" continued to intensify. Overseas markets continued to face operational challenges due to persistent impacts from trade protectionism, exchange rate fluctuations, and geopolitical conflicts.

MIDEA GROUP firmly implemented its annual business philosophy of "promoting growth through simplification and facing challenges through self-disruption," continuously focusing on core businesses and products. The company's overseas business development showed particularly significant results, with overall group scale achieving further growth. Core indicators including profitability and cash flow continued to improve, demonstrating Midea's operational resilience and long-term trend of high-quality growth.
