Since domestic refined oil product prices were last adjusted on August 28th, the renewed escalation of tensions between the US and Iran has driven international crude oil prices to surge continuously.

In order to mitigate the impact of rising global oil prices on the domestic market, temporary control measures have been implemented on domestic refined oil product prices, while maintaining the existing pricing mechanism framework.

According to calculations based on the current pricing mechanism, on September 11th, domestic gasoline and diesel (standard product) prices should have been raised by 435 yuan and 420 yuan per tonne, respectively. However, after the implementation of the control measures, the actual increases are 260 yuan and 250 yuan per tonne, respectively.
