Pantoro Ltd's stock plunged 5.03% during intraday trading on Wednesday, as the market reacted negatively to analyst concerns regarding the company's ability to meet its annual production targets.
According to a market analysis report, brokerage firm Euroz Hartleys expressed skepticism about Pantoro's production guidance for fiscal year 2026, which calls for between 86,000 and 92,000 ounces of gold. The analyst noted that achieving the lower end of this range would require the company to produce 27,000 ounces in the fourth quarter alone, a target that may be difficult given its recent quarterly performance.
In response to these concerns, Euroz Hartleys reduced its price target for Pantoro by 10% to A$6.52 per share, citing the need for the company to deliver multiple quarters of production in line with guidance to regain market trust.
