TAI HING GROUP (06811) saw its share price climb more than 5% in the afternoon trading session, reaching a new five-year high at HK$1.445. The stock was last trading at HK$1.445, up 5.09%, with turnover reaching HK$5.12 million.

The company released its interim results for fiscal year 2026 at midday, reporting revenue of HK$1.852 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 8.19%. Net profit attributable to shareholders surged 83.46% to HK$74.875 million, with basic earnings per share of 7.71 HK cents. The company declared an interim dividend of 6.20 HK cents per share, a substantial increase of 77.14% compared to the 3.5 HK cents distributed during the same period last year.

According to the company, the significant profit growth was primarily driven by improved sales performance from its core brands, alongside the effectiveness of its cost control measures. Both employee costs and lease-related expenses as a percentage of revenue declined during the period. Despite ongoing uncertainties in the operating environment, the board remains confident in the company's long-term prospects and continues to maintain a stable dividend policy.
