Nine green technology trading agreements signed centrally, platform trading functions continue to gain prominence

The National Green Technology Trading Center held a new round of centralized green technology signing during the forum, covering nine groups totaling 23 green technologies—including green separation membrane materials and equipment applications—with a combined transaction value exceeding RMB 80.54 million. These transactions span green sectors such as new membrane materials, building energy efficiency, and new energy. In July 2026, the State Council issued the "15th Five-Year Plan Carbon Peak Action Plan," which explicitly states: "Rely on the National Green Technology Trading Center to accelerate the transformation, application, and promotion of energy-saving and carbon-reducing scientific and technological innovations." The National Green Technology Trading Center has actively implemented these deployments, focusing on green technology transaction matchmaking as its central mission, carrying out routine technology collection, evaluation screening, and supply-demand matching to drive continuous expansion of trading volume. The nine groups of green technologies signed this time ran through the entire transaction service process—from collection into the database, evaluation and selection, to matchmaking and final signing—fully demonstrating the center's achievements. A batch of green technology outcomes has achieved pricing, circulation, and transformation through market mechanisms.

Academicians lead "Zero-Carbon Era Award" expert jury, professional authority safeguards green technology selection

At the appointment ceremony, the "Zero-Carbon Era Award" evaluation committee was officially unveiled, led by Du Xiangwan, former vice president of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and an academician, comprising 16 authoritative experts including two academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and four academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. The committee will leverage top-tier expertise to guide the selection and evaluation of green technologies and application cases in zero-carbon parks, zero-carbon factories, and related fields, using the awards to uncover technological value and stimulate vitality in the green technology market, striving to build a fair, scientific, credible, and influential public-interest green brand. Chairman Wang Naixiang presented expert credentials to four attending committee representatives: He Kebin from Tsinghua University, Jiang Bing, director of the Carbon Neutrality Special Committee of the China Energy Research Society, Wang Zhaohua, Dean of the School of Economics at Beijing Institute of Technology, and Wang Zhixuan, deputy director of the Expert Committee of the China Electricity Council.

Four strategic cooperation agreements signed, green technology trading market ecosystem continues to expand

China Beijing Green Exchange signed strategic cooperation agreements with the National University Green Energy Regional Technology Transfer Center (Beijing), China State Shipbuilding Corporation, and Befar Group respectively. Meanwhile, the China Institute of Atomic Energy of China National Nuclear Corporation signed a cooperation agreement with Beijing Isotope Nuclear Electronic Machinery Co., Ltd. to jointly build a nuclear technology application transformation platform. These four collaborations cover green energy technology transfer, green chemical and carbon assets, green maritime power and marine new energy, and nuclear technology applications. Participants include university technology transfer platforms, central state-owned enterprises, and leading private technology companies, indicating that green technology trading is extending from single-point technology matchmaking to broader industrial chain collaboration, with an increasingly diverse and expanding market ecosystem.

Green technology brokerage service system fully rolled out, professional forces accelerate aggregation

To strengthen the green technology brokerage service system, the National Green Technology Trading Center launched its first batch of green technology brokerage service institutions and green technology brokers/managers. Six institutions, including CNNC Carbon Asset Management Co., Ltd., Beijing Jingneng Carbon Asset Management Co., Ltd., and the China Environmental Protection Machinery Industry Association, were appointed as the first batch of green technology brokerage service institutions. Additionally, 12 professionals from nine institutions, including Beijing Jiaotong University, the Hebei Academy of Sciences, and the Beijing Green Industry Development Promotion Association, were appointed as green technology brokers/managers. These service institutions and professionals will provide full-process services covering transaction matchmaking, innovation outcome discovery, supply-demand connection, green technology evaluation, and industrialization, accelerating the construction of a professional service system spanning the entire green technology transfer and transformation process.

Two platforms officially launched, two outcomes released, and one initiative pools collective strength

During the forum, two innovative platforms were simultaneously launched, accelerating the connection of the green technology transformation chain. The joint patent pre-examination officer practice base was officially initiated. In July of this year, the National Green Technology Trading Center was selected for the second batch of patent pre-examination officer practice bases by the Beijing Intellectual Property Protection Center. Under the center's guidance, the practice base will focus on key areas such as energy conservation, environmental protection, and new energy, promoting precise alignment between patent pre-examination and green technology innovation and transformation needs, exploring a service model of "technology R&D - intellectual property protection - market trading" to streamline the entire business chain. The Green Energy Industry International Collaborative Innovation Center was also launched simultaneously. Initiated by Steinbeis Sustainable Technology Management (Beijing) Co., Ltd., it will be based in Beijing, leveraging the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, radiating across the country, and connecting globally to build a domestic and international technology exchange and cooperation platform in the green energy sector.

Two outcomes focused on technology selection applications and industrial transformation trends were also released, providing authoritative references for the green and low-carbon transition. The Beijing Municipal Development and Reform Commission, Beijing Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Center, and China Beijing Green Exchange jointly published the "Beijing Energy-Saving Technology Product Recommendation Catalog (2026 Edition)." Thirty-three energy-saving technologies and products were selected, covering smart energy management systems, data center energy efficiency, new and renewable energy utilization, transportation energy efficiency, building energy efficiency, and industrial energy efficiency, providing energy users with technical guidance and selection references for energy-saving and carbon-reduction retrofits. Additionally, "Industrial Restructuring in the Carbon Neutral Era - Innovative Technologies and Case Practices," compiled by the Carbon Neutrality Special Committee of the China Energy Research Society in collaboration with the Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China under the Ministry of Science and Technology, and China Beijing Green Exchange, made its debut. The book covers six major areas—energy, transportation, buildings, industry, agriculture, negative carbon, and non-CO2 greenhouse gas emission reduction—reviewing more than 100 innovative technologies and case practices, offering a systematic reference for understanding industrial transformation trends in the carbon-neutral era.

Seven institutions, including the National Green Technology Trading Center, jointly issued the "Green Technology Innovation Achievement Transformation, Application, and Promotion Initiative." Addressing issues such as fragmented green technology achievement information, misaligned supply-demand connections, and inadequate transformation channels, the initiative proposes actions across six dimensions: strengthening resource aggregation and sharing, conducting green technology evaluations, promoting supply-demand matchmaking and application, building a team of green technology brokers/managers, and deepening international exchanges and cooperation, pooling collective efforts to drive green technology innovation achievement transformation and promotion.
