Xiamen's artificial intelligence public service platform commenced operations on the 23rd of July.
This development signifies a significant step by Xiamen in advancing the deep integration of "AI + enterprise services," aiming to equip a wide range of industries with powerful "AI engines."
At a press conference held on the same day, Peng Junfeng, Chief Engineer of the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, outlined the initiative.
The city is pioneering the construction of this public service platform with the goal of driving the in-depth application of AI to empower sectors such as manufacturing, finance, and healthcare, thereby facilitating the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries and fostering the growth of emerging sectors.
This integrated platform combines technology enablement, resource consolidation, and industrial development, offering core services including customized industry reports, a comprehensive AI capability marketplace, scenario-based supply-demand matching, AI investment and financing, and embodied intelligence services.
It provides publicly accessible AI general tools and industry-specific solutions, extending AI capabilities into areas like intelligent transformation, digitalization, and technological innovation, with a focus on addressing the key challenges businesses face during their transformation journeys.
Currently, the platform has aggregated over 2,100 AI resources, including large language models, computing power, datasets, and intelligent agents.
The system is designed to accurately identify enterprise needs and match them with practical, implementable solutions, assisting various industries in integrating AI into their production and operational processes.
A dedicated section for intelligent transformation and digitalization offers services such as intelligent diagnostics, curated case studies, and scenario matching.
It utilizes specialized intelligent agents to automatically assess a company's digital shortcomings and generate transformation reports, helping businesses overcome hesitations and knowledge gaps related to digital transition.
The science and innovation zone connects resources including 1,120 scientific and technological achievements, 790 service organizations, and 3,820 scientific instruments.
It provides one-stop services for technology transfer, industry-academia-research collaboration, and intellectual property rights protection, empowering industrial innovation and upgrading.
Peng Junfeng stated that the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology will continue to enhance the comprehensive enterprise service portal and the AI-powered service system, aiming to achieve a coverage rate exceeding 95% for intelligent services in key operational areas.
The platform will persistently explore new pathways for AI enablement, upgrade its service capabilities across all domains, and contribute to economic development through digitalization and intelligent construction.
