Beijing Consumer Finance Co., Ltd. has been penalized by the regulatory authorities for violating rules governing the collection, provision, and inquiry of credit information.
According to the administrative penalty disclosure published by the Beijing Branch of the People's Bank of China on September 11, the company was fined 59,000 yuan for its non-compliance with these regulations.
Additionally, Zhan Mouliang, who serves in the Consumer Rights Protection Office at Beijing Consumer Finance, was held personally accountable for the company's regulatory violations and has been fined 10,000 yuan for his direct responsibility in the matter.
