China's largest state-owned bank has once again demonstrated its commitment to shareholder value, securing the top position in the nation's cash dividend rankings.

Industrial And Commercial Bank Of China Limited (ICBC) ranked first on the total cash dividend list released by the China Association for Public Companies for 2026, according to recent disclosures. The bank's total cash dividends for fiscal year 2025 reached approximately 110.6 billion yuan, marking the first time any A-share listed company has surpassed the 110 billion yuan annual dividend threshold.

Building on its track record of consistent and stable payouts, the bank modestly increased its interim dividend ratio for 2026, further refining its shareholder return mechanism and enhancing the tangible benefits for the investing public.

Since its listing in 2006, ICBC has generated cumulative cash dividends exceeding 1.64 trillion yuan for shareholders, solidifying its position as the A-share market's all-time leader in total dividend distribution. Over the past two decades, the bank has consistently demonstrated long-term value creation, acting as a steadfast partner by sharing development achievements through regular and reliable cash returns.

The bank has also enhanced its payout structure, implementing a twice-yearly dividend scheme since 2024 that combines interim and annual distributions. Additionally, H-share investors now enjoy the option to receive dividends in renminbi, offering greater timeliness and flexibility in payment arrangements.

As a major state-owned commercial bank, ICBC will continue to play a leading role in the industry, carefully balancing reasonable shareholder returns with its own sustainable development. The institution remains dedicated to strengthening its financial services capabilities and competitive edge, ensuring that the fruits of high-quality growth are shared equitably with all investors.
