Wai Chi Holdings Company Limited executed an on-market share repurchase on 3 July 2026, acquiring 5,000 ordinary shares at HK$0.87 apiece. The transaction totalled HK$4,350 and represents 0.0023% of the company’s 216.86 million issued shares (excluding treasury shares) prior to the buyback.
Following the purchase, Wai Chi’s treasury stock increased to 2.87 million shares, while issued shares outstanding (excluding treasury shares) declined marginally to 216.85 million. The overall share count, including treasury shares, remains unchanged at 219.73 million.
The repurchase forms part of the mandate approved on 27 May 2026, which authorises the company to buy back up to 21.97 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 2.87 million shares, equivalent to 13.07% of the issuer’s share capital on the mandate date.
Under Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules, Wai Chi is subject to a 30-day moratorium—until 3 August 2026—on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares following this repurchase.
