On September 15, County Deputy Secretary and County Mayor Yang Xincheng visited multiple elderly care facilities across the county to conduct an on-site inspection and supervision of service quality upgrades and safety assurance implementation. Deputy County Mayor Du Baozhu accompanied the inspection.

At the Dingcheng Township Nursing Home, Yang Xincheng inspected the facility's environment, daily operations, and sanitation disinfection procedures. He checked the cleanliness of residents' rooms and common activity areas, verified the operational status of fire safety equipment and emergency lighting systems, and reviewed the institution's safety patrols, hazard inspections, and rectification efforts. He reminded the facility's management to consistently maintain environmental cleanliness, disinfection protection, and safety controls, while refining daily management measures to provide residents with a clean, tidy, safe, and comfortable living environment.

Following that, Yang Xincheng proceeded to the Dingyuan County Social Welfare Institute to conduct supervisory inspections focused on safety management in elderly care. He individually verified the condition of fire emergency and emergency lighting equipment, inspected the accessibility of safety exits and evacuation stairways, and placed special emphasis on supervising food safety operations. He inquired in detail about critical aspects including ingredient traceability, dietary meal planning, and dining environment management. He stressed that elderly care institutions must strictly uphold the two safety bottom lines of fire safety and food safety, conduct routine hazard investigations and rectifications, refine safety management measures, resolutely prevent safety incidents, and comprehensively safeguard the personal safety and dietary health of elderly residents.

At the Xidajie Community Elderly Care Service Center in Dingcheng Township, Yang Xincheng focused on reviewing the implementation effectiveness of home-based elderly care supporting services. He conducted on-site inspections of the elderly meal assistance canteen's dining environment, kitchen hygiene, and food quality, and learned about the meal service process, coverage demographics, and meal supply standards. He also inspected the recreational activity spaces and supporting facilities for seniors, and inquired about routine cultural and recreational activities as well as spiritual and cultural services for the elderly. He required that the community elderly care service center precisely address the living and spiritual cultural needs of seniors, optimize convenient meal assistance services, enrich recreational activities, improve service support facilities, and effectively enhance seniors' sense of well-being and satisfaction.

During the inspection, Yang Xincheng emphasized that elderly care services represent a key livelihood initiative directly related to residents' interests and social harmony and stability. All relevant departments and elderly care institutions must consolidate their primary responsibilities, closely monitor key aspects including environmental hygiene, safety prevention, meal guarantees, and daily services, optimize service supply, address service shortcomings, and elevate the standardization, refinement, and professionalism of elderly care services to drive quality improvement and high-quality development across the county's elderly care sector.
