Frencken Group Limited announced on Sep, 3 2026 that it has secured approximately 100 million Singapore dollars in gross proceeds from a private placement of 44,081,591 new ordinary shares at 2.2687 Singapore dollars each. The new shares are scheduled to begin trading on the Singapore Exchange at 9:00 a.m. on Sep, 4 2026. Maybank Securities acted as the sole placement agent.

The offering was fully subscribed, attracting demand from a roster of institutional investors that includes Affin Pheim Asset Management, Avanda Investment Management, JPMorgan Asset Management (Singapore) and Lion Global Investors, among others. Estimated net proceeds of about 97.1 million Singapore dollars will be directed toward expanding existing businesses, funding strategic investments, pursuing mergers and acquisitions, and forming joint ventures or strategic alliances.

Management said the funds will support capacity upgrades—such as a new Mechatronics facility in Singapore due to be operational in the second half of 2027—plus potential expansion of operations in Malaysia and Southeast Asia. The company is also evaluating opportunities in technology sectors offering recurring revenue, including automotive radar antennas and humanoid robot gearbox solutions.

Frencken Group expects current growth momentum, bolstered by rising demand from global semiconductor equipment customers and artificial-intelligence applications, to continue through 2027. The firm remains confident of achieving annual revenue of 1 billion Singapore dollars by 2028, barring unforeseen circumstances.
