Weibo's Hong Kong-listed shares (WB-SW) plummeted 8.96% during intraday trading on Thursday, reflecting a sharp negative reaction from investors.
The decline follows the company's reported fourth-quarter non-GAAP earnings, which came in at $0.25 per diluted share, falling short of the $0.32 per share analysts had expected.
Despite the earnings miss, Weibo's Q4 net revenue of $473.3 million exceeded the consensus estimate of $444.8 million. The company also announced an annual cash dividend of $0.61 per American depositary share.
