At the Youngor Fashion Industrial Park within the Ruili Border Industrial Park, modern machinery operates at high speed as workers focus on cutting, sewing, pressing, and packaging operations. High-quality shirts, pants, and other products manufactured here are exported to global markets.
In recent years, the Ruili Border Industrial Park has focused on precision investment attraction in four key industries: textiles and apparel, communications electronics, equipment manufacturing, and imported goods processing. This has led to the formation of a significant domestic textile and apparel industrial belt, three communications electronics industrial chains covering audio equipment, LCD modules, and optical communication connectors, two equipment manufacturing chains for motorcycles and energy storage cabinets, as well as an imported agricultural and sideline products processing industrial cluster.
Since 2023, the number of textile and apparel enterprises in the Ruili Border Industrial Park has grown from 2 to 122, communications electronics companies have increased from 3 to 19, equipment manufacturing enterprises have expanded from 2 to 7, and imported goods processing companies have risen from 9 to 37. Employment has surged from 2,000 to 42,000 people.
Industrial value-added above designated size grew by 86% in 2023 and 119% in 2024. More than 20 companies have been upgraded to above-scale industrial enterprises, with expectations that over 40 companies will achieve this status by 2025.
