COSCO Shipping International appoints liquidator for voluntary winding-up of dormant Malaysian unit

COSCO SHIPPING International (Singapore) Co., Ltd. said on Apr, 9 2026 that it has appointed Ms Ong Li Hong of KLM Corporate Services (M) Sdn. Bhd. as liquidator for the member’s voluntary liquidation of Golden Logistics & Storage Sdn. Bhd., a wholly owned indirect subsidiary incorporated in Malaysia.

The unit, previously engaged in non-container shipping agency and supply-chain services, is currently dormant. The liquidation forms part of the group’s broader restructuring plan aimed at boosting operational efficiency and lowering logistics costs in Singapore and Malaysia.

The company expects the move to have no material impact on its net tangible asset per share or earnings per share for the financial year ending Dec, 31 2026. No directors or controlling shareholders have any interest in the liquidation beyond their existing holdings or directorships in the company.
