Bloom Energy Corp (BE) shares surged 9.82% in after-hours trading following the release of its second-quarter financial results, which significantly exceeded market expectations.

The fuel-cell technology company reported revenue of $1.07 billion for the quarter, more than doubling from $401.2 million a year earlier and well above analyst estimates of $826.1 million. Adjusted earnings per share came in at $0.78, nearly double the consensus estimate of $0.41. The company also swung to a GAAP profit of $196.3 million, or $0.62 per share, from a loss a year ago, driven by a 215% surge in product revenue.

Bloom Energy also raised its full-year 2026 guidance, now projecting revenue between $3.9 billion and $4.2 billion, compared to the FactSet consensus of $3.73 billion. Adjusted earnings per share are expected to be between $2.55 and $2.85, well above the $2.15 analyst estimate. Chief Executive KR Sridhar cited accelerating demand for Bloom's power solutions, noting that all major U.S. hyperscalers and over a dozen AI-focused data center operators have validated and approved its technology for their AI factories.
