Tanwan executes HKD 2.90 million buyback, issued shares slip 0.05%

Tanwan Inc. disclosed that on 23 July 2026 it repurchased 270,000 ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices ranging from HKD 10.59 to HKD 10.96 per share. The weighted-average price was approximately HKD 10.74, bringing the cash outlay to HKD 2.90 million.

Following the transaction: • Issued shares excluding treasury shares fell to 518.82 million, a reduction of 0.05%. • Treasury shares increased to 15.62 million. • Total issued shares, including treasury stock, remained at 534.44 million.

The buyback was made under the general mandate approved on 17 June 2026, which authorises the company to repurchase up to 52.12 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 2.41 million shares, representing 0.46% of the issued share capital on the mandate date.

Under Hong Kong listing rules, Tanwan is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 22 August 2026.
