TOMSON GROUP (00258) announced its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2025. The group achieved total operating revenue of HK$2.645 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 1,880%. Profit attributable to equity holders reached HK$782 million, up 654.51% compared to the same period last year. Basic earnings per share stood at HK$0.3596.

During the first six months of 2025, the property development and sales segment served as the group's primary profit contributor, generating a segment profit of HK$1.63 billion (2024: loss of HK$28.248 million), which was attributed to property sales in Shanghai. The property investment segment ranked as the group's second-largest profit source, contributing a segment profit of HK$80.239 million (2024: HK$93.979 million). Apart from unrealized gains arising from fair value changes following the revaluation of the group's investment properties in Shanghai at period-end, this segment profit was derived from rental income and property management fees from the group's investment properties.
