According to the latest data from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, on September 16, a shareholder of WAI YUEN TONG (00897) transferred their shareholding from BNP Paribas to Bank of Communications (Hong Kong), with the transfer valued at HK$300 million, representing 71.16% of the company's shares.

WAI YUEN TONG's published annual results for the year ended March 31, 2025, showed that the company's continuing operations generated revenue of approximately HK$745 million, marking a 4.9% year-on-year decrease. The profit attributable to owners of the parent company reached HK$7.1 million, representing a turnaround from losses in the previous year. Earnings per share stood at HK$0.63 cents.
