The Douhe Irrigation District 2024 follow-up supporting and modernization renovation project (EPC) in Fengnan District, Tangshan City, undertaken by China Railway 18th Bureau Group Co., Ltd., has now fully entered the final sprint stage. Currently, the main project construction is entirely finished, and the focus will now shift to the channel revetment works for five channels in the Mengzhuangpo area, concentrating superior resources to fully tackle the "last mile" and ensure the construction task is completed to a high standard.
At the Mengzhuangpo construction site, various engineering machinery operates with a roar and high efficiency, while construction personnel are intensively carrying out processes such as channel slope grading and revetment pouring. Channel revetment is a core and critical link in the irrigation district project, significantly enhancing water conveyance efficiency, strengthening the channel's anti-scour capacity, and holding great significance for ensuring irrigation water security and extending the project's service life. The revetment construction in this final phase will lay a solid foundation for the high-quality implementation of the entire irrigation district renovation project.
As a key infrastructure project aimed at enhancing the region's comprehensive agricultural production capacity, since its commencement, the Tangshan project department has directly confronted numerous challenges, including complex geological conditions and multiple intersecting construction interfaces. It has consistently anchored its goals on "quality excellence and controllable safety," strictly implemented standardized construction requirements, actively promoted the application of new technologies and processes, scientifically coordinated and dispatched various resources, effectively ensuring the project's steady progress according to the planned schedule.
The project manager stated that all builders are currently engaging in the final攻坚 battle with high morale. In the next step, the project department will strictly adhere to design specifications and construction standards, seize the current favorable construction window, use refined management as a lever, scientifically organize construction forces, and, under the premise of ensuring both safety and quality meet standards, fully accelerate the Mengzhuangpo channel revetment construction, striving for the project's early comprehensive completion and handover for use.
Upon completion, this project will further improve the water conservancy infrastructure network in Fengnan District, Tangshan City, significantly increase water resource utilization efficiency, and provide solid water conservancy support for promoting stable and increased agricultural production and assisting the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy.
