EGP Energy secures 2.6 million Singapore dollar T&D contracts

EGP Energy Corporation Limited (EGX) said on Aug, 27 2026 that its wholly owned unit, EGP Smart Energy Pte Ltd, has won two transmission and distribution projects in Singapore valued at a combined 2.6 million Singapore dollars.

The new awards raise the group’s order book to about 298.8 million Singapore dollars as of the announcement date.

The company added that it expects demand for its transmission and distribution services to stay firm, supported by continued investment in Singapore’s electricity infrastructure and electrification.

EGP Energy provides engineering, procurement and construction management services for extra-high-voltage and high-voltage power transmission as well as medium-voltage distribution projects, and held roughly 24.9% of Singapore’s EHV and HV switchgear and transformer market in 2025, according to Frost & Sullivan.
