Latest data from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange reveals that on January 8, a shareholder of PLOVER BAY TECH (01523) deposited shares with UBS Securities Hong Kong Limited. The deposited shares have a market value of HK$395 million, representing 5.53% of the company's total.

The interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2025, for PLOVER BAY TECH show that the group achieved revenue of $62.943 million, a year-on-year increase of 9.85%. Net profit reached $21.665 million, up 13.41% compared to the same period last year, with basic earnings per share of 1.96 US cents.

The company proposed an interim dividend of 12.34 Hong Kong cents per share. According to the announcement, the sales growth during the period was attributable to the strong performance of 5G products, although this was partially offset by a slowdown in the momentum of the Peplink Starlink plan, which was launched in early 2024.
