GUOFUHEE (02582) opened sharply higher in morning trading, gaining nearly 13%. At the time of reporting, the stock was up 12.81%, trading at HK$39.98, with a turnover of HK$8.06 million.

On the evening of March 5, GUOFUHEE announced that it, along with BTE and Hylium, has entered into a tripartite supply cooperation agreement. Under this agreement, the parties will collaborate on a 10-megawatt data center power generation demonstration project in the North American market. GUOFUHEE will be responsible for the design, manufacturing, and supply of natural gas reforming hydrogen production system kits, and will provide related technical services for the demonstration project. Hylium and BTE will be responsible for customer delivery engineering systems and power generation systems, respectively.

The announcement stated that the supply agreement and the demonstration project represent a significant step in the company's strategy to expand overseas markets and deepen the multi-scenario application of hydrogen energy. This initiative is expected to enhance the company's international competitiveness and brand influence. More importantly, GUOFUHEE aims to address the increasingly severe power shortage challenges in the global data center industry through such innovative solutions, providing robust energy support for the green and sustainable development of AI and cloud computing infrastructure. The board of directors believes that the successful implementation of the demonstration project will have a positive impact on the group's revenue.
