At the start of morning trading on September 17, 2026, domestic commodity futures contracts show a broad decline, with losses outpacing gains across the board.
Leading the downside, SC crude oil fell more than 5%, while fuel oil dropped over 4%. Low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) declined by more than 3%, and both styrene (EB) and pure benzene were down over 2%. Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) slid nearly 2%, with pulp and plastics both losing more than 1%.
On the upside, rapeseed meal advanced nearly 2%, while methanol, coking coal, and soybean meal each gained close to 1%.
