A report on August 12 claimed that former Sam's Club China CMO Zhang Qing has joined Boyu Capital to oversee Starbucks' supply chain reform in China, including seeking partnerships with other suppliers to reduce material costs. The report suggested that items such as paper cups, straws, and matcha powder would be manufactured by MIXUE GROUP.

Regarding this situation, MIXUE GROUP's headquarters could not be reached for comment. However, MIXUE GROUP's official customer service told Sina Finance, "It is not yet confirmed; we will register the relevant information and forward it to the company's relevant departments for verification." Starbucks China responded to Sina Finance, saying, "We do not comment on market rumors and speculation, and all business operations are proceeding normally."
