According to a presidential decree, Russian President Vladimir Putin has approved NordLine's acquisition of a 10% stake in the Arctic LNG 2 project from Total SA.

This decree permits Total SA to transfer its direct shareholding in the project. The venture is led by Novatek and is one of Russia's most significant natural gas projects in the Arctic region.

In May of this year, Novatek, which holds a 60% stake in the Arctic LNG 2 project, established a wholly-owned subsidiary named Nordline LLC.
