China's Ministry of Commerce announced on July 31, 2026, via Public Notice No. 31, an extension of the investigation period for the anti-dumping probe into pea starch imports originating from Canada.
This investigation was formally initiated on August 12, 2025, following the issuance of Public Notice No. 41, in accordance with the Anti-Dumping Regulations of the People's Republic of China.
Due to the complexity of the case, the Ministry of Commerce has decided to extend the investigation period, as stipulated under Article 26 of the Anti-Dumping Regulations. The new deadline for concluding the probe is set for February 12, 2027.
