Chow Tai Fook Shares Surge Over 5% at Open on Strong Full-Year Profit Growth and Dividend Announcement

CHOW TAI FOOK (HKEX: 01929) shares opened significantly higher on Tuesday, gaining more than 5%.

At the time of writing, the stock was up 5.22% to HK$11.70, with a turnover of approximately HK$16.53 million.

The sharp rise follows the release of the company's annual results for the period ending March 31, 2026.

The jeweller reported revenue of HK$94.398 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 5.3%.

Profit attributable to shareholders surged 52.2% to HK$9.004 billion.

The board proposed a final dividend of HK$0.45 per share, bringing the total annual dividend to HK$0.67 per share, a 28.8% increase from the previous year.

The company's gross profit margin improved to 32.3%, benefiting from soaring gold prices and increased sales contributions from its unique, high-margin signature product collections.

Coupled with effective cost control, operating profit rose 27.8% to HK$18.85 billion.

The operating profit margin reached a five-year high of 20.0%.

In a separate announcement, CHOW TAI FOOK reported that its retail sales value for the period from April 1 to May 31, 2026, grew by 14.7% compared to the same period last year.
