Shares of Shanghai Fudan (01385.HK) plummeted 5.06% during intraday trading on Tuesday, continuing a downward trend for the semiconductor stock.
The decline was part of a persistent wave of selling pressure affecting the Hong Kong-listed semiconductor sector since mid-May. Sector peers also saw significant losses, with Innoscience down 7.98%, Montage Technology down 7.76%, Hua Hong Semiconductor down 4.66%, SMIC down 4.51%, and GigaDevice down 4.42%.
This marks a continuation of the sector-wide correction pattern, with Shanghai Fudan having previously fallen nearly 7% on May 13 and over 5% on May 15.
