Zebra Technologies (ZBRA) shares skyrocketed 13.19% in intraday trading on Tuesday, after the barcode scanner and automation solutions provider reported second-quarter results that crushed Wall Street expectations and issued a sharply higher full-year outlook.

The company posted adjusted earnings of $6.35 per share, far exceeding the consensus estimate of $4.36, while revenue of $1.557 billion also topped the $1.497 billion forecast. The strong performance was driven by robust demand for products that help businesses automate warehouses, stores, and supply chains. CEO Bill Burns cited “strong demand momentum” and progress on productivity, noting that Zebra continues to benefit from trends in automation and Physical AI.

Looking ahead, Zebra raised its full-year sales growth forecast to 14%–16%, up from a prior range of 10%–14%, and lifted its adjusted EPS guidance to $20.75–$21.25, well above the $18.56 analyst consensus. The company also projected third-quarter sales growth of 17%–20%, significantly ahead of the 13.9% estimate. The upbeat guidance, combined with expectations for more than $1 billion in free cash flow, fueled investor optimism and drove the stock to a sharp rally.
