Prudential plc announced that it cancelled 364,056 ordinary shares on Mar, 06 2026, following their repurchase at an average price of GBP 10.872 per share.

As a result, the company’s issued share capital fell to 2,533,980,628 ordinary shares.

The disclosure also shows that 371,760 shares repurchased on Mar, 06 2026—at prices ranging from GBP 10.555 to GBP 11.005 per share for a total cost of about GBP 4.0 million—remain outstanding pending cancellation, along with 357,726 shares bought back on Mar, 05 2026 at an average price of GBP 11.0407 per share.

Under its share-buyback authority granted on May, 14 2025, Prudential has repurchased 73,190,351 shares to date, representing roughly 2.81 % of its share base at the mandate date. A moratorium on new share issuance or treasury-share sales remains in place until Apr, 05 2026.
