Cornerstone Technologies Holdings Limited has initiated its overseas expansion by commissioning a large-scale electric-vehicle (EV) charging station in Jakarta, Indonesia, through its long-standing technical partnership with PT CST Solusi Indonesia (branded “Stroom”). The facility, developed in collaboration with ride-hailing platform Grab, is positioned as the largest EV charging hub in central Jakarta.

The Jakarta site provides 1.44 MW of capacity, deploying 12 units of 120 kW direct-current fast chargers that together create 24 charging points. A dedicated proportion of the points will be reserved for Grab drivers to support the platform’s fleet electrification programme, while the remaining capacity is open to other fleet operators, ride-hailing drivers and private EV owners.

Cornerstone Technologies has also confirmed a follow-up project in Bali, slated to open in the coming months. The Bali hub will feature 0.72 MW of capacity through six 120 kW DC fast chargers, offering 12 charging points and ranking as the island’s largest planned EV charging facility.

Management views Southeast Asia—particularly Indonesia—as a high-growth market for sustainable transport infrastructure. Building on the Jakarta launch, Cornerstone Technologies and Stroom plan to establish several additional charging stations across strategic Indonesian locations to solidify regional presence and support accelerating EV adoption.

Shareholders and potential investors are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the company’s shares.
