In the first half of the year, Lakala continued to enhance its global payment capabilities, with its international business maintaining rapid growth. In March of this year, Lakala officially obtained Visa overseas card issuing membership, further completing its integrated service chain of "foreign card acceptance + cross-border payment and collection + international card issuing." The international payment product system has been further refined, laying a new foundation for expanding global business.

In the first half of the year, Lakala's cross-border payment services cumulatively served over 250,000 merchants, a year-on-year increase of 55.86%; the transaction scale of cross-border payments reached 54.364 billion yuan, up 46.38% year-on-year; active merchants for foreign card acceptance increased by 50% year-on-year, and the transaction volume of foreign cards rose by 81.57% year-on-year. International business has become a new growth highlight for the company.

In recent years, with the continued internationalization of the yuan and the accelerating pace of global operations for Chinese enterprises, the cross-border payment industry has encountered new development opportunities. To meet the cross-border operational needs of businesses, Lakala has been continuously strengthening its global payment capabilities. On one hand, the company is deepening cooperation with overseas institutions, including international card organizations, to connect with local overseas payment capabilities while exporting cross-border products, providing one-stop payment services centered on Hong Kong and covering the world for Chinese enterprises going global. On the other hand, the company is continually refining its cross-border payment product system. Its cross-border payment network now covers over 100 countries and regions, offering global collection and payment, localized overseas payment products, and other cross-border fund services for import and export enterprises.

Additionally, Lakala continues to advance the construction of domestic foreign card acceptance environments. The company maintains ongoing business cooperation with the five major international card organizations: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and JCB. As the only independent third-party payment institution in China with full-brand foreign card acquiring business qualifications, Lakala's foreign card acceptance services now cover 287 cities nationwide, further improving the convenience of payments for overseas visitors to China.

With the continued release of enterprises' overseas expansion demands, the ongoing internationalization of the yuan, and the persistent improvement of cross-border payment infrastructure, the cross-border payment market still holds vast development potential. Lakala is steadily perfecting its global payment product line, continuously enhancing its cross-border payment and foreign card acceptance capabilities to better serve the international operations of Chinese enterprises, thereby supporting the smooth functioning of the domestic and international dual circulation and providing robust support for the high-quality development of the real economy.
