In recent days, severe flooding has impacted multiple regions in Guangxi due to the influence of Typhoon Maysak.

Supermarket chains Yonghui Superstores Co.,Ltd. and Wal-Mart China have successively donated essential supplies, including emergency food items, daily necessities, and sanitation and disinfection products, to support the resettlement and basic living needs of the affected population.

It is reported that on July 7th, with the coordination of the Nanning Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Yonghui Superstores Co.,Ltd. mobilized its stores in the Guangxi region to urgently dispatch the first batch of emergency supplies such as milk, ready-to-eat food, and daily necessities to aid the affected areas in Hengzhou, Nanning City, Guangxi. These supplies are intended for frontline rescue operations, the relocation and resettlement of residents, and livelihood support.

As of now, the initial batch of relief supplies has reached the frontline. Yonghui Superstores Co.,Ltd. stated it will continue to monitor the situation in Hengzhou and surrounding areas and stands ready to respond to further disaster relief needs.

Concurrently, all its stores in Guangxi have further strengthened their stockpiles of essential goods including vegetables, meat and poultry, eggs, milk, and cooking oil to ensure stable supply and steady prices.

Following the disaster, Wal-Mart China promptly coordinated its local stores and supply chain network in Guangxi, working closely with professional organizations to track frontline needs and deliver emergency supplies to where they are most required in a timely manner.

On July 9th, Wal-Mart China announced a donation of supplies valued at RMB 1 million. These primarily consist of basic emergency food items, daily necessities, and sanitation and disinfection products, aimed at supporting the resettlement and basic living needs of the affected population.
