On the afternoon of June 4th, Lin Wu, Secretary of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee, met with a delegation led by Wang Chuanfu, Chairman and President of Byd Company Limited (BYD), at the Shandong Building in Jinan.

During the meeting, both parties provided updates on the development progress of Shandong Province and BYD Group. Discussions centered on several key areas, including new energy vehicle manufacturing, research and development of next-generation technologies like the Blade Battery, industrial planning, cooperation in the new energy battery materials sector, and fast-charging service infrastructure.

Both sides expressed a shared commitment to build upon the existing solid foundation of cooperation. They agreed to enhance communication and alignment, share development opportunities, accelerate and improve the efficiency of collaborative project construction, and advance the partnership into broader and deeper dimensions. This deepened collaboration aims to better support the high-quality development of green and low-carbon initiatives.

Provincial leaders Liu Qiang, Shan Yi, and Li Xiaolong were also in attendance at the meeting.
