Qunar Travel announced on March 2 that it has immediately activated emergency support measures for affected passengers. For hotel bookings made before 17:00 on February 28 for travel to 14 Middle Eastern countries—including Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, the UAE, Syria, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Bahrain, Iran, Israel, Oman, and Yemen—with travel dates between February 28 and March 5, Qunar has initiated a protection plan. The platform will collaborate with merchants to cover cancellation losses for users who need to cancel their bookings.

Additionally, as of the evening of February 28, several domestic airlines, including Air China, China Eastern Airlines, and Hainan Airlines, have released special policies for flights to and from the Middle East. Qunar Travel will promptly synchronize these policies and assist passengers requiring cancellations or changes.

Qunar stated that relevant policies from both domestic and international airlines are still being updated. The company will continue to monitor developments in policies and the regional situation, providing timely updates. Passengers are advised to check the latest information on airline official websites or the Qunar Travel app. In case of emergencies, Qunar users can contact customer service at 95117 for assistance at any time.
