Strategy, the publicly listed company holding the largest amount of Bitcoin globally, delivered a historic financial leap in the third quarter of 2026, posting a single-quarter net profit of $19.53 billion, according to Woofun AI. This figure not only far surpasses the $2.79 billion recorded in the same period of 2025, but also signals the extreme explosive power of its business model within the Bitcoin bull market cycle. At the same time, the company's senior management structure is undergoing a major adjustment, with Chief Financial Officer Andrew Kang confirmed to officially step down on November 5, a personnel change that has sparked widespread market attention regarding its future capital operation strategy.

In terms of profit structure, the 8-K filing submitted by Strategy to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) revealed its astonishing earnings details. Diluted earnings per share for the quarter reached $44.75, with the core driver of this performance coming from the mark-to-market revaluation of digital assets. Data compiled by Woofun AI shows that Strategy's operating profit for the quarter reached $20.91 billion, almost entirely composed of $20.91 billion in digital asset gains, namely the gains generated from revaluing its Bitcoin holdings at market prices. By comparison, operating profit in the same period of 2025 was only $3.89 billion, representing an staggering growth rate.

It is worth noting that Strategy's traditional software business remains relatively small in scale, with third-quarter revenue of $125.4 million, down 3% year-over-year; its gross profit was $89.6 million, maintaining a high gross margin of 71%. As of September 30, the company held $2.5 billion in cash and cash equivalents and $3.4 billion in short-term investments, providing a liquidity buffer for its subsequent asset allocation.

In terms of Bitcoin holdings, Strategy's accumulation strategy continues to advance. As of October 25, the company held approximately 848,517 Bitcoins, with holdings increasing by 26% since the beginning of 2026. The total cost of these Bitcoins amounted to $64.02 billion, with an average cost of approximately $75,446 per coin. Based on the price of $81,200 per coin on October 23, the market value of its holdings was approximately $68.9 billion. Since the beginning of 2026, Strategy has purchased a total of $14.33 billion worth of Bitcoin, demonstrating a strong willingness to increase its position.

However, from the company's self-defined metrics, the situation is not entirely optimistic. The "BTC Yield" metric has been negative 3.7% since the beginning of 2026, meaning that equity is increasing faster than Bitcoin holdings, leading to a decline in the amount of Bitcoin corresponding to each share. The "BTC Gain" measured in Bitcoin quantity has been negative 24,947 coins since the beginning of 2026, reflecting the potential erosion of shareholder equity caused by dilution effects.

Fundraising and balance sheet conditions are key to maintaining this massive position. In the third quarter, Strategy raised approximately $5.41 billion in net proceeds through additional issuance of new MSTR shares, with cumulative fundraising reaching $21.23 billion since the beginning of 2026. To optimize its capital structure, the company repurchased $2.04 billion worth of perpetual preferred stock STRC and increased its dollar-denominated assets to $5.07 billion. This asset scale is sufficient to cover dividend and interest expenses for the next 3.4 years, demonstrating the company's cautious approach to liquidity management. Through this "borrowing to incubate" strategy, Strategy has been able to continuously expand its Bitcoin exposure without fully relying on internal cash flow, while maintaining sufficient debt-servicing capacity.

Management transition details and preferred stock dividend changes further enrich the substance of this earnings report. According to the 8-K filing, after Andrew Kang steps down, during the transition period from November 6 to December 31, President and Chief Executive Officer Phong Le will concurrently serve as principal financial officer. Starting January 1, 2027, Executive Vice President of Operations Reza Virasteh will officially take over as Chief Financial Officer, serving jointly with Phong Le as principal financial officers. Under this structure, Phong Le will focus on capital markets, treasury, and investor relations related to Bitcoin strategy, while Reza Virasteh will be responsible for financial management of the software business. In addition, Global Controller Shelley Khanna will serve as Chief Accounting Officer starting November 6.

Regarding shareholder equity, at the extraordinary general meeting held on October 28, Strategy shareholders approved, by an overwhelming margin of 381,373,199 votes in favor and 2,236,551 votes against, a proposal to amend the issuance terms of four tiers of perpetual preferred stock 鈥?STRF, STRC, STRK, and STRD 鈥?allowing for a switch to daily dividend payments. According to another 8-K filing, STRC switched to daily dividend payments starting November 1, while the other three tiers will implement this change starting January 1, 2027. This adjustment aims to enhance the appeal of the preferred stock to investors and align with market conventions.

Founder and Executive Chairman Michael Saylor expressed optimism about the future in a press release, stating his belief that Bitcoin is at the beginning of its next bull market. He noted that the current Bitcoin price is 21% above the 200-week moving average, a technical indicator typically seen as a signal of strong long-term trends. Saylor's view reinforces the logical basis for Strategy's continued accumulation of Bitcoin, namely accumulating assets early in the cycle in order to maximize returns during the long-term uptrend.

Despite the short-term uncertainty brought by the CFO transition and share dilution, Strategy continues to occupy a pivotal position in the global crypto asset space through precise capital operations and strong Bitcoin conviction. This earnings report is not merely a presentation of financial data, but also the latest footnote to its long-term strategic execution, indicating that Strategy will continue to play a key role in the market cycles ahead.
