On July 30, Invesco NASDAQ 100 ETF rose 3.03% in regular trading, trading at $280.66/share, with turnover of $454 million.

On the news front, the U.S. Commerce Department reported that June core PCE price index rose 3.3% year-over-year, matching expectations and below the prior reading of 3.4%, while Q2 real GDP annualized quarter-over-quarter came in at 1.5%, below market expectations. Meanwhile, Fed Chair Kevin Warsh signaled he is in no hurry to raise short-term rates, noting that rising Treasury yields have already tightened financial conditions, prompting a broad equity rally and a decline in bond yields.

Additionally, the Nasdaq 100 index had just officially entered correction territory the prior trading day, falling 11% from its June 2 record closing high. Historical data shows that since 2015, this technical pattern has appeared 9 times, with the index rising 100% of the time within the subsequent month, providing technical support for the rebound.

The fund generally invests at least 90% of its total assets in securities comprising the Nasdaq 100 index, which includes 100 of the largest nonfinancial companies listed on the Nasdaq Stock Market based on market capitalization.
