AIA Group Limited (1299, 81299) Announces Redemption of US$0.75 billion 2.70% Resettable Subordinated Perpetual Securities

AIA Group Limited (the Issuer) announced that, pursuant to the terms and conditions of its US$0.75 billion 2.70% Resettable Subordinated Perpetual Securities under the US$18.00 billion Global Medium Term Note and Securities Programme, all outstanding amounts will be redeemed on 8 April 2026. This redemption date reflects an adjustment from 7 April 2026 under the Modified Following Business Day Convention.

The redemption price will be 100% of the principal plus accrued but unpaid distributions (including any arrears and additional distribution amounts). Upon full redemption and cancellation, there will be no further securities in issue. The Issuer will subsequently apply for withdrawal of the listing of these securities from The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.
