United Overseas Australia Ltd (UOS) informed the market that its Chairman and Managing Director, Chong Soon Kong, passed away peacefully on May, 27 2026.

The Board expressed condolences to Mr. Kong’s family and highlighted his role as co-founder of the UOA Group and his long-standing contributions to the company’s growth and governance.

The company said operations and governance remain stable under the existing leadership team. Director Pak Lim Kong has been appointed interim Chairman and Managing Director, with further board updates to be announced in due course.
