According to a report, GENSCRIPT BIO (01548) surged over 8% again, with cumulative gains of nearly 270% since early July. As of press time, it rose 8.16% to HK$44.78, with a trading volume of HK$438 million, and its total market cap broke through HK$100 billion.

On the news front, on September 16, the company announced a partnership with Lilly's AIDD collaboration platform, Lilly TuneLab. Under the agreement, the company will provide wet lab services to TuneLab participating enterprises, helping them rapidly generate experimental data, convert AI predictions into biological validation data, and accelerate candidate drug evaluation.

JPMorgan stated that Lilly TuneLab's selection of GENSCRIPT as one of three core wet lab partners is significant not just as a single CRO order, but as a strategic entry into an ecosystem of over 100 biotech clients and a closed loop connecting dry and wet labs.

Shanxi Securities recently released a research report stating that TWIST is the leading company in this round of AI drug discovery rally and a core industry player undertaking AIDD orders from companies like Anthropic, with its stock price continuously hitting new highs. Year-to-date, its stock price has risen 476%, with a single-day gain of over 16% on September 25, continuously fueling sector enthusiasm. AI drug discovery has become the strongest mainline in the current pharmaceutical sector.

MNCs are actively positioning in AI drug discovery. In September, Novo Nordisk announced integration with the Claude large model, Lilly's Lilly TuneLab successively signed agreements with GENSCRIPT, Twist, and Ginkgo Bioworks, and AbbVie reached a collaboration agreement with Lambic.
