The National and Local Co-constructed Humanoid Robot Innovation Center has officially launched its pilot production and public service platform, it was learned on July 18th.

This facility is located in the Zhangjiang Robot Valley in Shanghai's Pudong district. It establishes an integrated pilot closed-loop system encompassing research and development trial production, precision assembly, comprehensive testing, and warehousing and delivery.

The platform possesses an annual capacity of 2,000 complete units and 2,000 sets of core precision components. It will provide critical support for Pudong's embodied AI industry, spanning from research and development to mass production.

This initiative is expected to effectively reduce the costs associated with R&D and production line setup, while also accumulating standardized processes and practical test data. It aims to assist in the cluster-based development of related industries in the Yangtze River Delta region.

As the nation's first pilot zone for innovative AI applications, Pudong has in recent years consistently leveraged its three core advantages: "institutional innovation and breakthrough capability, the appeal of an open environment, and industrial chain integration strength."

With the commencement of this new platform, the Pudong New Area will further concentrate resources within the artificial intelligence industry. This will accelerate the evolution of integrated and innovative industrial models, speeding up efforts to build a world-class AI industry hub characterized by comprehensive development and leadership across all domains.
