Horizon Robotics-W (09660.HK) shares surged nearly 15% in early trading, with the stock up 14.68% at the time of writing to HK$4.14, with a turnover of HK$1.004 billion.

Data from NE Times New Energy shows that in April, the total installed volume of advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) domain control chips in China's passenger car market reached 600,000 units. Nvidia led the market with over 300,000 units installed, capturing a 50.9% share. Horizon surpassed Tesla to secure the second position, with an installed volume exceeding 80,000 units, accounting for 13.6% of the market. Industry analysis suggests the ADAS domain control chip market has now formed a two-leader structure, with international chip giants and domestic autonomous driving suppliers leading the way, while various self-developed solutions from automakers also coexist.

It is noteworthy that Horizon's rapid growth is closely linked to the comprehensive deployment and vehicle integration of its Journey 6 series chips. The Journey 6 series is China's only computing solution series that meets the mass-production requirements for all levels of intelligent driving. It has secured partnerships with over 25 automakers for more than 100 vehicle models, with over 40 models already in mass production and on the market. Concurrently, Horizon's full-scenario ADAS system, HSD, built on the Journey 6 platform, is undergoing continuous mass production and vehicle integration, which is expected to further drive chip shipment volumes. Currently, HSD has secured partnerships with up to 10 domestic and international automaker brands, with cumulative partnerships for over 20 vehicle models.
