Gold jewellery stocks rallied across the board in the morning session, with CHOW SANG SANG (00116) climbing 11.55% to HK$15.65, while LAOPU GOLD (06181) advanced 11.04% to HK$380.20.

Other major players also joined the uptrend, as Luk Fook Holdings (00590) gained 7.52% to HK$26.30, and Chow Tai Fook Jewellery (01929) rose 7.18% to HK$13.58 by the time of reporting.
