Patrick Industries' stock plummeted 5.21% during intraday trading on Monday after the company announced the termination of merger discussions with LCI Industries.
The recreational vehicle component makers ended talks regarding a potential merger of equals, citing an inability to reach agreement on certain key terms. The companies had previously confirmed they were in discussions on April 17, 2026, but noted at that time there was no assurance a transaction would result.
Patrick Industries stated that while there was consensus on leadership of the combined company and continued execution of Patrick's strategic plan, the parties were unable to align on other critical aspects of the potential deal. The announcement follows a trading halt earlier in the session pending the news release.
