At the APC2026 Zhiyuan Partners Conference held on April 17, Zhiyuan Robot’s co-founder, president, and CTO Peng Zhihui shared his perspectives on competitors such as Yushu Technology and {"TSLA":{"name_zh":"特斯拉","name_en":"Tesla Motors"}}'s Optimus during a media exchange.

Peng Zhihui expressed that Yushu is a remarkable company with a decade of experience, excelling in robot hardware development, achieving high production volumes and operational efficiency, making it a model worth learning from.

He highlighted the distinction between Zhiyuan and Yushu Technology: "Zhiyuan adopts a full-stack approach. Beyond motion control, we also focus on interaction and task execution capabilities. Our goal is not merely to launch a hardware platform but to apply it in the market, delivering tangible productivity value to customers—this is the founding mission of our company."

When discussing {"TSLA":{"name_zh":"特斯拉","name_en":"Tesla Motors"}}'s Optimus, Peng noted that based on promotional videos, the results appear impressive. However, as the product has not yet entered mass production, it is premature to offer a definitive assessment. He added that while overseas players may have an edge in fundamental innovation, China could progress more rapidly in engineering implementation and commercialization.

In his view, the robotics industry is not yet a saturated market; the overall industry pie remains relatively small. Therefore, all players are working collectively to advance the sector's growth.
